Sending out newsletters is one thing, getting people to read them is quite another. Imagine having twice as many people actually read your newsletter. How about ten times more readers? Make a few changes in how you craft your newsletter and watch what happens.

Newsletters serve many purposes. Organizations use newsletters to keep people informed about what is going on. Companies write newsletters to encourage clients to purchase products or services. Some newsletters are premium subscription services that provide valuable and timely information to their clients. No matter what your objectives are, newsletters are a powerful way to get your message in front of people. In many cases, your newsletter is the only way to reach your clients.

The challenge is that our customers are bombarded with email. Getting them to pause and read our newsletters is more challenging than ever. We all love to see the number of subscribes grow, but what matters most is the number of readers. What good is your newsletter doing if no one opens the email?
Write Powerful Headlines – Write attention getting short headlines. Headlines will catch the eye of the reader and hopefully capture their attention long enough to get them to read the article.

The Perfect First Paragraph – The very first words and sentences are critical. Make a quick and important point about the article. You may have to make your point up front and then explain it in following paragraphs. If they read nothing but the first paragraph, they should be intrigued, captivated, enticed, and mesmerized!

Only Give them a Taste – Avoid putting too much of the article in your newsletter. Put enough content in the newsletter to get their attention and then get them to click the “read more …” link. That link can take them back to your website to finish the article. The advantage of this is that you can add additional advertisements and you will know for sure how many people actually read the article. If the reader can read the important elements of your article within the newsletter, it is difficult to know if people read the article or not.

Who is you Audience? – Have a consistent writing style. If your newsletter appeals to technical people then your articles need to be consistently appealing to those people. If your readers are lightweights, make sure that all your articles are accessible to them. If you go over their heads with terminology or other details, they will most likely discard the whole newsletter.

Lead the Eyes – The first glance at your newsletter will draw the eye somewhere. That gives your reader a quick moment to decide to look more or move on. Make sure the title of your email, the catchy article titles, and other captivating stuff are the first things people glance at within the first 3 seconds. Flash ads or other “distractions” belong a little lower in the newsletter. Get their attention first.

Control the Distractions – It is normal to want to put ads and other graphics in the newsletter. This is a good thing. If you do too much of it, you take away from the point of the newsletter. For most of us, the point of a newsletter is to get people to visit the website. Every aspect of the newsletter should be crafted to get people to click on something that goes to your website. Anything that takes them somewhere else is what I call a distraction. The simple rule is that everything in the newsletter should result in people going to your website.

There are many other considerations which I’ll cover in future articles. You will want to use a newsletter distribution service that helps you make sure your newsletter gets delivered, for example. You will want newsletter archives on your website. You will also want to send your newsletter at consistent intervals. People love you when you are predictable. Miss an issue and people will wonder if you are still in business. For most of us, one or two newsletters per month is sufficient.

Most people think of websites as “passive marketing”. Websites are passive marketing tools because customers have to come to the website on their own. Websites do not find new customers, the serve customers that find you. That’s not a completely true statement, but it is mostly true.

<![endif]-->

Most people think of websites as “passive marketing”. Websites are passive marketing tools because customers have to come to the website on their own. Websites do not find new customers, the serve customers that find you. That’s not a completely true statement, but it is mostly true.

Passive Marketing

Passive marketing methods are dependent on people finding your website. If we use that term liberally, then we can say that passive marking would include common search engine optimization (SEO), link exchanges, listings in link directories, word-of-mouth, business cards, etc.

Passive marketing strategies, such as search engine optimization, are very important. I encourage you to use all those techniques. In this article, we are going to build on the concept with more aggressive “Active Marketing” techniques.

Active Marketing

Active marketing is nothing new. This is how businesses have promoted themselves for years. This is the standard marketing stuff that’s been done for years. But for some reason, website owners are stuck in passive marketing mode and never consider these proven strategies.

Simply put, know who your target audience is, then go where they are and advertise there. If you sell products for teens then you should definitely have a MySpace.com web page and a YouTube.com presence. If you have B2B services, you must not neglect LinkedIn.com, Plaxo.com, etc.

Social Networking

There are numerous social networks that attract varying age groups and interest groups. Many of these social networks offer groups, have a friending system, and allow you to customize your profile page in ways that will help you promote your business.

Join one or two social networking groups and get started. Make as many friends as possible. Try to make friends with people in your target audience, but accept anyone who wants to be friends. You never know who knows who. I never turn down a friend request on these system.

Once you get a feel for it, add more social networking sites to your online presence. You will learn where to stay and where to fade away. For my business, I use Plaxo.com, LinkedIn.com, Tweeter.com, FaceBook.com, and I’ve just started playing with Seesmic.com.

How to Network Online

Networking online using social networks is very similar to networking in local networking groups. If you are a member of BNI, Rotary, or the local Chamber of Commerce, then you know that meeting people, helping people, and just making friends with people are key to making deals happen. It is exactly the same online.

Online networkers are slightly different though. They tend to prefer friendly talk to business talk. Start advertising and they will tune you out right away. Talk to people, make friends, and let them know what you do in a more subtle fashion. I always mention that I’m an internet marketing professional, however I rarely sound like I’m advertising.

More Marketing

Okay, there are books full of information on marketing. This article will hardly cover it all. My objective is to get you to start networking online. But there are many other techniques for driving business to your website.

Ebay.com – sell products on ebay.com and work those customers to visit your website. You’ll make quick sales and begin building a list of customers.

Craigslist.com – run commercials here. It’s free and there are software programs to help you do this.

Squidoo.com and HubPages.com – These sites let you setup “expert” pages on the subjects of your choice. Go out and declare yourself the expert and you can generate sales that way as well.

Google Adwords – this is not free, but these paid advertisements work. It’s the fastest way to get customers to your website … as long as you don’t mind paying for it.

Joint Ventures – This is critical. If you have a mailing list, I want you to promote my stuff on your mailing list. In exchange, I’ll promote your stuff on my list. Find other companies with newsletters for similar sized companies with similar target audiences and start cross-promoting each other.

Yahoo Answers – Ask and answer questions on Yahoo.com’s Answers feature. Put your link in those messages. Curious people will click. It works better if you answer questions in your industry. Your intelligent answers will result in customers.

Virtual Assistants – Hire a virtual assistant to help you do all this stuff. First, you do it so you learn how, etc. Then hire someone to do this stuff for you and you can show them exactly what you want done.

Have you heard the phrase, "interweb"? The "interweb" word is a humorous word referring to internet users who are ignorant to how the internet works. It is used primary by the "old school" technos to make fun of the average Joe users. Okay, I get the joke, it’s fun and all. But let’s talk marketing!

If we refer to the newer users, the techno-challenged surfers, as "interweb" users and then refer to the tech-savvy users as "internet" users, then the rest of this article will make more sense.

Interweb users have finally discovered the internet and they are poking around in Google just fine. They are learning to search, shop, and have fun online. They are probably using youtube.com, linkedin.com, and a few other common easy to use websites. I’m sure they have all seen myspace.com pages, but none of them have setup their own page.

Marketing to the interweb is actually a bit different than marketing to internet users. Internet users will find your podcasts, know how to search for a blog, and will even subscribe to your RSS feed. Internet users are less likely to read your newsletter unless it’s pretty good.

Interweb users are easily overwhelmed by tech-talk. They like newsletters and even look forward to getting emails. Interweb users do not know how to manage their spam filters, so be careful to test your emails using a "spam test" utility (offered by mailing list companies such as IContact (recommended) .

Think of this as the transition from techno-users to techno-challenged-users. The interweb will win. That’s okay. Internet users will always exist and will do what they do. I’m one of those people. Interweb users are here to stay and there will be more of them coming online every day. Brace yourself. Rethink your internet marketing campaign and target the interweb users. Do not assume they know stuff.

We love interweb users. But we have to be sensitive that computers are just "not their thing". If you say something like, "put info@abc.com in your whitelist", an interweb user will probably not know what you are talking about. Review your emails, websites, auto-responders, etc. Either find ways to eliminate technical instructions or prepare more indepth instructions targeting your interweb audience.

Web hosting accounts are very inexpensive these days. Professional web hosting companies may charge a little more than the bargain web hosting accounts, but even those fees are extremely reasonable.

Free Hosting Accounts ($0) - There are free web hosting services such as WordPress.com. These typically work well for enthusiast sites and many nonprofits. Most of them do not provide email hosting, have strict limitations to prevent abuse, and may not allow you to use your own domain name. Servers are typically overloaded. Support is typically very limited or non-existent. What do you expect for nothing?

http://www.WordPress.com is excellent for zero budget websites.

Discount Hosting Services ($0-$100/yr) - These are the dominant providers out there. Companies such as GoDaddy.com, BlueHost.com, and many others all seem to offer ridiculous amounts of space, bandwidth, and other services. Be aware that every one of these has limits. The common limitation is on CPU utilization. If your website is too active, they will shut down your account. Do you want to learn that the hard way after placing some ads? Probably not. They probably will not run backups of your site either, so you better watch out for yourself. This is a big issue if you use databases which require special steps to backup.

http://www.Godaddy.com is excellent for discounted hosting services.

Commercial Hosting Services ($100-$250/yr) - Commercial hosting companies will typically have better servers that are not overloaded. Some will have mirrored disks. Most will run backups. Most will not have CPU restrictions. Customer support services will usually be excellent. While these will cost slightly more, it is well worth it to have a professionally managed server.

http://www.AnythingInternet.com - of course I have to recommend my own company.

Premium Value Added Services ($200/yr and up) - These hosting companies are the type that offer special features that require you to host with them. Marketing companies might have a special database or a special statistics package. Companies like this will offer special features, typically industry specific. These packages are very expensive, but you are paying for the special services.

This category will include services specific to your industry. Direct sales companies provide these types of websites. Franchises, financial companies, industry sites, such as www.har.com , or niche market sites such as http://www.clubrunner.com .

Choosing a Hosting Company

Know Your Needs - Do you need email hosting? Does your website require special database or operating system requirements? Do you want the company to run backups? Is your site a high traffic site? Do you need extreme amounts of online storage?

Contact Technical Support - Do not call the pre-sales number. Salesmen always answer the phone and make big promises. Try to call or email the tech support team and ask questions there first. They are the people you will deal with once your account is open. Call them or email them a few different times. Get a feel for them.

Try Different Companies - If you have more than one website, put them with different companies for a while.

Read the Forums - Most web hosting companies have a forum where existing customers chat with each other. Always read the forums before you sign up. The customers who are unhappy will be complaining really loudly there. These are great testimonials. Of course every company will have unhappy customers, but if you see that dozens of customers are all complaining about the same issue, consider those conversations carefully.

Testimonials from Friends - My least favorite point on this list is asking your friends what they do. Their needs may be different and they may not be qualified to know they are getting treated poorly. Ask your friends, but consider the source as you evaluate their advice.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is one of the most discussed methods for improving traffic to your website. Search engines, such as Google.com, Yahoo.com, MSN.com, and others are all trying to help web surfers find what they are looking for. This is harder than it sounds. Search engine companies are always working on their advanced algorithms in order to produce better results for web surfers. It is a very competitive industry. SEO experts work very hard to keep up with the changes in the search engine industry.

I strongly recommend you use a professional SEO consultant for all of this. It is a lot of work and there are special tools that make all this much easier. You can do it yourself, but is it worth your time? Only you can say.

Know your baseline - Make sure you have statistics enabled on your site. I recommend Google Analytics.

Know your objectives - Are you selling something? Looking for phone calls? Or do you want people to sign-up for your newsletter.

Keyword Analysis - Keyword research tells you what keywords you should target in your SEO strategy. These should be consistent with your objectives. I recommend Word Tracker

Competitor Analysis - Search the major search engines using the keywords from your analysis. Learn who your competitors are. You will want to out-perform them with better keyword densities, more inbound links, etc. I recommend Web CEO.

On-Page SEO - There are a number of on-page things to do. Here are the most significant areas to optimize:

Pages should have keywords in the filename. These keywords appear in the address bar.

The page TITLE should have keywords. These keywords appear on top of the browser.

META Tags (keywords and description) should have lots of keywords in them as well.

All graphics should have ALT tags with keywords in them as well.

Page content should include heading tags and emphasis tags to draw attention to key words and phrases on the page.

Page content should have a high density of critical keywords.

All links on your site to other pages on your site should have keywords in those links. Avoid using [click here]. Use keywords in the link.

Create additional site content if necessary. Make sure you have all your keywords optimized somewhere on your site.

Update your site regularly. The more updates the better. This is why blogs are so popular.

Off-Page SEO - There are many off-page SEO techniques. We can only cover a few here:

Write keyword-rich articles and submit them to free article sites. Write a lot of articles. Use an article submission service to get your articles out to more websites faster.

Write comments on blogs and social networks and include links back to your site. Make sure your links always include keywords.

Post ads on craigslist.org, ebay.com, and anywhere else you can place ads promoting your products or services.

Your ultimate goal is to have as many pages on your site as possible and for those pages to be keyword optimized. Then you want as many links to your site from other sites and those links should have keywords in the clickable part as well. This is a never-ending process. Always add more content. Always produce more inbound links. It is a lot of work but it can pay off big.

It can take a while for your SEO efforts to be fruitful. Just keep at it. Watch your website work its way up the rankings. You will thank me when you are #1.

If you spend any time at all on the internet, then you know that nearly every major website has some form of community features. Whether it is posting a review, setting up a profile, or making friends, most websites have features that allow visitors to participate in some fashion.

While there are many fantastic communities to participate in, for this article we will focus on Yahoo! Answers. The principles are adaptable to many other sites. My suggestion is to start with Yahoo! Answers and then expand to other community sites based on your own niche.

What is Yahoo! Answers?

Yahoo has a service called "Yahoo! Answers". Yahoo! Answers is a web-based service where visitors can ask questions and other visitors will answer them. Someone might ask a question and get several responses from various visitors. It is rewarding to answer questions for people, but done right, you can use this tool to drive more business to your website.

Visit http://answers.yahoo.com and look around. Search for questions related to your own industry. Even if the question already has answers, you can add your own answers as long as the question has not been marked "resolved".

Be a Good Citizen - Tips for Success

Answer questions in your niche. Stay focused on topics within your target audience for your products and services. You are building relationships in the virtual community and your answers should help you create a reputation as a subject matter expert.

Participate Often. You will build relationships, earn a few points, and create more links to your website. Try to answer several questions once a week. Yahoo! Has a point system.

Always vote on other people’s answers. Vote thumbs up or thumbs down, just vote.

Contribute value and go easy on the links. People do not mind if your answer has a link to your website as long as the answer was a good contribute to the question. Answers like, "find your answer on my website …" are not good enough. Contribute real value and place your link in a subtle fashion at the bottom of your article or wherever it fits best. NOTE: To place a link, simply include the http:// along with your website address. You will see it is clickable when you preview. If it is not clickable, you probably forgot to put the whole thing like this: http://www.AnythingInternet.com .

Do Not Post Commercials. This is not an advertising system. It is a community support system. Always do your best to provide good value and keep the marketing verbiage to a bare minimum.

Desirable domain names are a hot commodity and the prices are going up, up, up! Have you tried to register a domain name just to find out it has already been taken? Desirable domain names, also called Premium Domain Names, are being marketed more aggressively than ever and people are paying a fortune for some of them. We are not talking about the multimillion-dollar domain names here, we are talking about every day names that you might want to use for your business.

If you have a company name or product name and that name is available already, that is an obvious choice. This article is about what to do when your first choice brand name is not available.

What Makes a Good Domain Name?

There are two important goals for most websites. First is to be memorable to visitors. Brand recognition and stickiness is very important. Second is to help train Google.com in order to get more visitors redirected from the search engines. To be clear, your domain name is a very small part of your overall search marketing strategy, but it is an important one.

To train Google.com, your domain name should include useful keywords. If you are an attorney that specializes in divorces, some of your keywords would be: divorce, attorney, lawyer, custody, settlement, alimony, etc. You could choose a domain name by combining good keywords, such as: DivorceAttorney.com, DivorceLawyer.com, etc. Those are very memorable and include great keywords. Of course, someone else already registered those names. What happens if you use more keywords, such as DivorceAttorneySettlementChildCustodyLawyerSpousalAbuseAlimonyFamilyLawOffice.com? That has many keywords in it, but it hardly solves our first objective of being memorable. Well, it is very memorable, but not easily memorized.

What Variations Should I Try?

If you have decided on an one or two ideal domain names and they are no longer available, what do you do? The first thing to do is to try a few variations. Try and stay with .com style names. Avoid adding dashes. Add things like "Houston", "Texas", "My", "Your", "Offices", "Blog", "Store", etc. This gives you a lot more options. Using our example domain, DivorceAttorney.com, we have a lot more options: HoustonDivorceAttorney.com, MyDivorceAttorney.com, DivorceAttorneyOffices.com, and so on.

There are many alternatives to the .com extension. These are less desirable for several reasons. Mainly that your customers will probably go to the .com version. It is not as big of an issue as it used to be, but .com names are still considered the premium choice with .net, .us, .biz, and .tv as decent second choices. Do not choose .org unless you are a non-profit because that is what people expect from a .org site.

How do I Buy a Premium Domain Name?

You can easily determine who owns an existing domain name using a service called "WHOIS". The "WHOIS" data is available from many places including most companies who provide domain registration services. Send an email or call the official contacts associated with that domain name and see if the domain is for sale.

Many domain names are registered for the purpose of being resold at a profit. You can usually tell from what happens when you try to visit the website. The site looks strange and there is a link to inquire about purchasing the domain name.

Once you contact the domain owner, they will either say "not for sale" or they will give you a price. Negotiate that price. I’ve talked down every domain I’ve ever purchased. One domain was offered at $5000 but I paid $1000. Another domain was $1800 and I paid $800.

You can also purchase a domain name appraisal from GoDaddy.com for a few bucks and that will give you negotiation ammunition if someone’s asking price is too high. There are a number of factors considered in pricing a domain name. Use of popular keywords, extension, and many other factors influence the price.

How do I Pay and Not Get Ripped Off?

Never pay someone for a domain name without protecting yourself. Many domain sellers are overseas and taking legal action against someone in another country will not be worth the trouble. If you are buying from a reputable company such as GoDaddy.com, then there is little to worry about. But if you are buying from an individual, you MUST use an escrow service. I suggest www.escrow.com . They charge about 3% and they manage the transaction.

An escrow service takes your payment, but will not release the payment to the seller until the domain name is properly transferred. It also protects the seller because you cannot get your money back very easily either. There are dispute resolution processes if necessary. Generally both parties feel safer with an escrow service holding the money during the domain transfer process.

Transferring the Domain Name

Finally, there are some administrative headaches in transferring a domain name. This takes an attention to detail and a little experience is helpful. You should get the help of someone technical just to make sure everything is properly transferred and to confirm you have 100% complete control of the domain name before releasing escrow. There may be several steps to the process. The exact steps will vary from registrar to registrar. It is usually a process.

In case you have not noticed, video is exploding over the internet. YouTube.com is one of many sources that have made video simple and affordable to produce. We have all seen the skateboard accidents and other funny videos. Have you also noticed the number of commercials and information videos? Have you noticed how many video blogs are out there? Yes, video is here and it is time for you to get in on the action.

Your First Video

Video is a big topic if you want it to be. How do you reach your customers? How do you make it interesting? Should you hire a professional? Can you do your own thing with a webcam? These are all great questions and all have the same answer, "it depends".

If you are already accustomed to giving your "elevator pitch" about your company, that’s a great start. You can also prepare a quick elevator pitch for each of your products or services. If your business is centered around you and your personal credibility, then do your own videos. If your business is built around the products and services, then at least consider using someone attractive with a captivating personality to represent your company.

For most companies, your video should be focused on marketing and not too educational. No showing off! Tell people that you can help them and focus on what they need and why they need it now. No video resumes. Focus on your client’s needs or on your differentiators.

Shoot several versions and change them up a bit. Then ask your friends and colleagues to help you choose the videos that work the best for your business. You can have several.

For web video, any camera will do. Take the time and trouble to work on sound quality, lighting quality, etc. You do not need special equipment, but you do want your video to look fairly well done. It is not necessary to focus on high definition or tricky special effects. Just get a video online and then upgrade it when you are ready. It you want something really fancy or if you are producing a companion DVD, etc., then spend the money on professional help.

Publishing Your Video

Your video should be from 30 seconds to five minutes in duration. These are easily hosted on YouTube.com. Upload your video to YouTube.com and they will provide you with the codes to help put it on your website. It is very simple. Put a different video on each page of your website and make sure the YouTube.com descriptions include keywords, product names, or whatever else. Google will read the YouTube.com descriptions and use those to drive traffic to your videos and to your website.

If you do not use YouTube.com for your video, there are easy ways to have your video placed on your website. The important thing to do here is to create the XML required to teach Google.com what the video content is so Google.com can send you search engine traffic. Google calls this XML file a "Google SiteMap". To create a Google SiteMap, go here:

http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=80472

I am sure that Google SiteMaps are generated by some video editing software. There are probably other tools to help you do this as well.

Great Video Commercials

If you go to YouTube.com, you can search and find all sorts of videos. One of my favorite examples are the videos from the BlendTec blender company. These videos are built as a cross between a video blog and an infomercial. Search youTube.com for "Will it blend" and you will see well made videos of a guy grinding up all sorts of crazy things in his BlendTec blender. These videos are designed to do several things:

Create a viral marketing buzz.

Demonstrate the quality of the product.

Sell blenders.

These commercials do all that well. It is worth a look to get some ideas on how to do it right.

Are you tired of these high gas prices? So are your customers. Now is the time to take a serious look at online services that save time and money by helping you accomplish more online. Your customers will appreciate not having to drive to your office, or store, and you will appreciate the increased online business because of today’s gas crisis. High gas prices mean more online sales. Get ready.

Online sales tools are very popular for business-to-business relationships. Do not overlook business to consumer possibilities, especially on higher priced items. Helping a customer through pre-sales options online might save them time or money. Imagine, as a consumer, being able to select color and material options in advance. It could reduce two or three trips to the store down to just one.

Build an Online Sales Environment

Free Conference Calls - Free conference call services are quite good and they really are free. Use these for sales demo calls, staff meetings, etc. Search Google.com for “free conference calls” and find www.FreeConferenceCall.com and many others.

Free Video Conferencing - Check out services such as www.NowLive.com, www.SticKam.com, and other video conferencing services. Some cater towards entertainment but work fine for business and sales presentations. Search for “video conferencing” or “free video conferencing” or “free video chat”. There are plenty of choices.

Webinars - Webinars allow you to share your computer screen with participants. Have callers join a conference call and then login to the webinar site and you can conduct presentations online. Search Google.com for “webinars”.

Online Sales - Provide the ability to order any of your products or services online, over the phone, or through the mail. Make sure the whole process is painless. Include FAQs, guarantees, privacy notices, anti-spam notices, etc. Make sure the entire online sales process is secure and comfortable for your customers.

The bottom line is that gas prices force consumers to do more shopping online. It costs too much money to drive around all weekend. The upcoming Christmas season will certainly set new records in online sales while retail sales will be dismal.

Now is the time to get your website cleaned up and ready to sell more products and services online.

Do you have a website? Is it producing the results you want? Most people say, “No!” There was a time when it was enough to have a website. By having a website, you created a great impression for your customers. These days your website has to be an effective marketing tool.

It does not matter if you sell physical items, intangibles, services, or if you only sell ideas. Every website is designed to inform people about something and usually with the intention of influencing those people to take action. In that general sense, all websites sell. That is the whole point of building the site to begin with.

These ideas are centered on websites with products; however, most of these tips are useful to anyone selling anything to anyone.

Do not build your website just to say what you want to say. Carefully consider the message your want your customer to receive and design the website around producing results

Establish Credibility - Let people know why they should do business with you. Mention things that boost their confidence in your company. How long have you been in business? Have you won any business awards? Are you involved in Chambers of Commerce?

Include Testimonials - Testimonials are clever ways to say things you would not normally say because it makes you look arrogant. Contact you customers and get permission to post a testimonial. You can even write the testimonials for your customers, just get their approval before you post them on your site.

Focus on Sales - Build your site with sales in mind. Make it easy to identify the products or services and easy to buy online.

Guarantee Everything - People do not trust companies they do not know. Offer over-the-top guarantees that stick in the mind of the customer. Use big claims like, “WE ARE NOT HAPPY UNTIL YOU ARE HAPPY GUARANTEE”, or “NO GIFT CARDS, NO HASSLES, FULL 100% CASH BACK GUARANTEE”. Make sure the customer knows you are confident they will be happy customers.

Privacy - Make a big deal how hard you work to protect their privacy. Tell them about your “never sell, never rent” policy. Tell them about your high-tech encryption policies. Tell them about your “no spam” policies. Add a “Our Promise to Our Customers” page.

Easy Pay - Make the payment process very easy. Do real-time credit card validation. Make sure the forms are easy and intuitive. Pay attention to customer fears or concerns.

Surveys - Ask customers to complete a survey and tell you how well they like your products, services, marketing, website, or whatever. Make sure the customer knows how much you appreciate their input and how their input will help you serve them better in the future.
